Driver Friendly have released a stripped down version of “Messidona” for Punks in Vegas. The song comes from their EP, Peaks + Valleys, which was released earlier this year on Hopeless Records.

Driver Friendly are one of the more original bands to come out of the Warped Tour scene in years. Featuring horns and synths, the music they make is quite unlike anything you’ve heard before. This stripped down session features three guitars and a horn section, both of which are crucial elements in their signature sound.

The band recently finished up a US tour with Motion City Soundtrack and Relient K, and will be heading out for a Texas tour in January. You can check out their stripped down session after the jump.

John Bazley was raised in central New Jersey by the romantic aura of the Asbury Park beachfront, punk rock, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4. He is still trying to figure all of this stuff out.

In addition to UTG, John has contributed to Alternative Press and Full Frequency Media. Follow him on Twitter for pictures of his dog.
